It flips pancakes and eggs without a single drop of oil sticking, which is exactly what I wanted for weekday breakfasts. Fits my skillet lid perfectly when it’s not in use, so it’s earning its keep twice over.
The polished surface is so smooth that eggs slide right off with just a whisper of butter, and cleanup takes me under a minute. I’ve been using it every morning for pancakes and it heats evenly edge to edge, which my old pan never did.
It doubles as a lid for my No. 10 skillet, which is honestly the best part—saves cabinet space and keeps things warm while I finish the main dish. The flat surface heats evenly and sears a mean pancake without any hot spots. Might be my most-used piece of cast iron now.
