The lid fits so snugly that my stew barely lost any steam over three hours, and the even heat distribution completely eliminated the hot spots my old pot had. I’ve used it every weekend since it arrived, and the enameled interior wipes clean in under a minute.

That first loaf of cast iron bread came out with a crust I couldn't get in my regular pan, and the 3.5 quart size handles a full stew for two with room to spare. It heats evenly and feels solid without being awkwardly heavy, just like a good vintage piece should.
