The sheer surface area is a crowd-pleaser, and the carbon steel heats evenly enough that I didn’t have to babysit the rice. It’s heavy when full, but that’s the price for a proper statement piece on the table.
I was a bit nervous about the handle being too long, but it's perfectly balanced even when full. Used it to cook for twelve people last Sunday and the food came out amazing, plus it looked beautiful right on the table.
