Flipping a delicate piece of salmon without it falling apart used to stress me out, but the thin slotted edge slides under the fillet like a dream. The walnut handle is balanced enough that it doesn’t twist in your hand, and scraping the burnt bits off my cast iron afterward is almost satisfying now

The walnut handle gives it a nice, solid grip, and it slides under a fried egg without tearing it. Only gripe is the slot could be a bit wider for scraping up all the charred bits from my cast iron, but it does the job.
