Bauernhaus-Pfanne

I was nervous about mailing my skillet for engraving, but the artisans nailed the date and initials perfectly. The carbon steel still has that beautiful, smooth patina, and the lettering looks like it was always meant to be there. It's now the piece we'll pass down for sure.

The engraving turned out crisp and clean, exactly the kind of detail that makes you want to pass it down. I was nervous about the lettering staying sharp, but the artisans clearly took their time with the spacing and depth. It's already sitting on our stovetop like it belongs there.

I was nervous about shipping something this personal, but the message I had engraved looks like it was done by hand in a workshop, with lines so deep and even they'll survive decades of seasoning. The artisan clearly took their time, and it turned our plain skillet into something we'll pass down.
