I was nervous handing over my grandmother's skillet after my roommate ran it through the dishwasher, but the process was surprisingly easy and the results are flawless. It came back looking better than when I bought it, with that perfect season restored and not a trace of rust or warping.
My grandmother's warped old skillet came back looking like it just left the factory floor — the seasoning is flawless and the iron's got that deep, matte black sheen again. They even managed to smooth out the rust spots I thought were permanent. This is the kind of care that makes you trust someone
The turnaround was faster than quoted, and the skillet’s surface is perfectly smooth again—no pitting or rough spots remain from that dishwashing incident. It's like getting your old friend back, just without the guilt.
