This kit is designed to optimize and enhance your Smithey experience. Including a chainmail scrubber, a soft bristled cleaning brush, and a tin of our house seasoning blend of oils and beeswax to maintain and enhance your carbon steel or cast iron cookware. A great gift for any cast iron cook or an even better gift for yourself. Use it well.
I finally caved and bought the cleaning kit, and the chainmail scrubber is a total game changer for getting my pan looking like new again. The beeswax seasoning blend leaves a nice subtle sheen too, and everything feels sturdy enough to last a long time. Worth every penny.
The seasoning tin is a nice touch—the beeswax blend goes on thin and leaves the pan with a slick, even finish after I scrub with the chainmail. The brush handle fits my hand well, too.
The chainmail scrubber handles stuck-on bits way better than my old sponge, and the brush is gentle on the finish. The seasoning tin is a nice bonus for keeping the pan in shape after each clean.
