The stitching held up perfectly through a full month of heavy daily use, and the suede has only gotten softer and more supple each week. It grips hot cast iron handles with zero slip, exactly like I hoped it would.

Took a while to soften up, but now it grips hot pans perfectly and the stitching has held up through months of daily use. It’s pricey, yet the hand-stitched quality is obvious compared to the flimsy ones I burned through before.

The suede is definitely premium and the hand-stitching looks sturdy, but it’s a bit thinner than I expected for grabbing hot cast iron handles. Works fine for moderate heat, just don’t expect a thick oven mitt feel.
